Job Summary
Assist clients in the parts store and ascertain auto services by listening to customer descriptions, conducting inspections, taking test drives, and examining maintenance records. Develop estimates by costing materials and labour, then prepare repair orders with customer signatures and enter them into the service database. Check in customer RVs with inspection sheets, verify warranty coverage, and provide parts or technical support for repair orders. Perform parts inventory audits and work without constant supervision while following all health and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- Understanding of automotive parts
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly attitude
- Above-average technical knowledge
- Valid G Driver's License and acceptable driving record
- Experience using labour time guides
- Experience quoting parts from multiple sources (both OEM and Aftermarket)
- Excellent time management
- Ability to work under pressure and follow strict timelines
- Mechanical knowledge
