Job Summary
Parts Advisor in Lafayette, LA responsible for assisting customers and service technicians with identifying and locating automotive parts, serving as the primary Cashier for the Parts and Service Departments, processing payments and invoices, maintaining inventory, and delivering a professional front-counter experience. Requires experience in automotive parts or customer service, HS diploma, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of parts terminology and inventory software. Full-time position with benefits and opportunities for growth.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of experience in automotive parts, retail, cashiering, or customer service is required
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and parts terminology, with proficiency in parts inventory software and electronic catalogs preferred
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and be at least 21 years of age or have 3 full years of driving experience
