Job Summary
Assist retail and wholesale customers and service technicians in identifying and ordering the correct parts and accessories. Process parts orders by locating and retrieving inventory from stock, receive and inspect incoming shipments, and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular stock checks. Provide accurate pricing, availability information, and delivery timelines while ensuring the department remains organized and clean. Collaborate with service advisors and technicians to fulfill requests promptly and handle returns and warranty claims per manufacturer procedures. Deliver professional phone and in-person customer service while staying informed on current parts and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory and locate parts quickly
- Excellent customer service, communication, and phone etiquette skills
- Ability to calculate pricing, discounts, and margins using basic math and Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy when fulfilling orders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Reliably commute to Watford City, ND
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a parts counterperson, parts advisor, or in an automotive parts retail environment preferred
- Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) a plus
- Valid driver's license preferred
