Partnerships Specialist at ALX Africa focused on leading external partnership initiatives and acting as a bridge between ALX and its ecosystem of institutional partners. Responsible for end-to-end partnership lifecycle from proposal evaluation to implementation coordination and ongoing assessment; engage cross-functional teams (Fundraising, Operations, Learning, Product, Tech, Finance, Cities, Brand, Impact) to deliver strategic partnerships with measurable learner and organizational impact. Key duties include strategic relationship management, partner reviews and KPI alignment, development of pilot programs and value propositions, negotiation of scopes and timelines, designing innovative partnership models (content licensing, co-branded programs, sponsorships), preparing executive materials (decks, ROI analyses, business cases), coordinating due diligence, creating pipeline strategies (6–12 months), and leading cross-functional implementation, governance, and operational excellence. Essential traits include strong initiative, humility, curiosity, resilience, clear communication, and the ability to influence across teams without direct authority.
