Job Summary
Partnerships Manager responsible for owning a pipeline of partner-sourced merchant opportunities end-to-end—from prospecting and qualification to commercial design, negotiations, launch, and ongoing performance management. Build and maintain a landscape of target partners (referral partners, resellers, ISVs) to drive merchant growth, define commercial models and terms (revenue share, fees, margins), coordinate with Finance, Legal, Product, and Sales to ensure scalable deals, and lead end-to-end negotiations with senior stakeholders. Manage the partner lifecycle, enablement, training, joint go-to-market plans, lead handover, and performance reviews, while identifying expansion opportunities and ensuring opportunities flow into Teya’s sales motions. Strong commercial instincts for designing deal structures, modelling partner economics, and defending them with senior stakeholders. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with credibility at C-level and below; autonomous, process-oriented, and able to operate with minimal oversight. Experience in payments, fintech, SaaS, or similar B2B environments is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in partnerships, business development, or similar commercial roles with direct ownership of partner-sourced revenue
- Track record of identifying, structuring, negotiating, and closing partnership deals
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with credibility at C-level and below
- Self-starter who can operate with autonomy and move quickly without sacrificing rigour
- Experience in payments, fintech, SaaS, or another high-velocity B2B environment selling to SMBs is a plus
