Job Summary
Drive outbound outreach and manage end-to-end relationships across payment networks, financial institutions, agent builders, and wallet providers. Own strategic partnerships from sourcing and structuring through activation, enablement, and long-term growth while representing the GM in high-stakes meetings with major financial institutions. Run partner threads including agendas, briefs, follow-ups, and internal alignment; maintain rigorous pipeline tracking in HubSpot and build repeatable playbooks and enablement assets. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Solutions, and Marketing to drive measurable pipeline and revenue impact. Embed yourself in partner workflows via joint GTM calls and co-hosted events to keep Baselayer top of mind.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in partnerships or business development at fintech, payments, identity, or data infrastructure companies
- Experience managing enterprise partners (banks, networks, processors, platforms) and know how to navigate their org charts and timelines
- Strong operational skills to manage end-to-end execution, align stakeholders, and keep complex projects moving
- Experience managing pipeline, partner activity, and reporting in HubSpot or a similar CRM
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence across internal and external stakeholders
- Comfortable in technical conversations about APIs, credentials, and integration models
- Comfort navigating ambiguity, changing priorities, and building structure where none exists

- Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives from 0 to 1 and scale them into repeatable processes
- Existing relationships in the payments or identity ecosystem
- Experience with standards bodies or industry working groups
- Motivated by ownership and excited to build from 0 to 100
