Job Summary
Identify, engage, and develop partnerships with individuals and organizations to secure student jobs, social services, and other community resources. Build bidirectional relationships within assigned regions to embed Thread's culture and recruit resources at the institutional and community level. Recruit, train, and manage diverse teams of Resource Team Volunteers to execute regional recruitment strategies. Organize and mobilize prospective volunteers and partners for info sessions and orientation programming to convert them into active community members. Leverage data and tools to track the conversion process from initial identification to readiness for placement. Build and adjust regional recruitment strategies using metrics to drive monthly, quarterly, and annual goals while ensuring budget and policy compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years in relevant experience, including community organizing, recruitment, partnership development, storytelling, sales, and/or relationship management
- Excellent written and oral communication, including public speaking & persuasion skills
- Must have access to reliable vehicle and flexibility to work nights & weekends
- Experience developing and tracking projects, leveraging databases and software such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Ability to clearly communicate and live out Thread's core values & core competencies
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of and access to varied organizational and individual networks in the Baltimore region
- Self-Management and Self Assurance – assesses own skills and seeks development, opportunities; able to perform duties with minimal supervision
- Associate's Degree preferred
