Job Summary

Deliver high-quality training to partner agencies across Birmingham on substance misuse, access to treatment, and correct pathways. Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders to identify training enquiries and respond to bespoke requests. Develop and maintain a training calendar, redesign course materials, and evaluate courses to ensure consistent standards. Actively promote organizational values, teamwork, and integrated working while adhering to equal opportunities, diversity policies, and data confidentiality. Work under the Quality Team to facilitate professional development and promote a wide range of learning styles.

Required Qualifications

  • Considerate experience of working within substance misuse services
  • A clear understanding of the need for and ability to deliver quality services
  • Demonstrate effective presentation and facilitation skills
  • Experience of delivering training and/or group work
  • An excellent understanding of learning styles
  • The ability to adapt training and resources to meet the needs of different learners
  • Extensive knowledge of the issues facing substance and alcohol misusers
  • Knowledge of social care
  • Knowledge of welfare benefits
  • Knowledge of health
  • Knowledge of emergency accommodation
  • The right to work in the UK at the time of application
  • No visa sponsorship eligibility
