Job Summary
Support multiple client service teams on engagements by planning, executing, and directing tax projects across diverse industries while providing innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise. Supervise, develop, train, and mentor staff on tax projects, assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews, and respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities. Research and consult on various tax matters using tax-related software to prepare and process returns, actively assist in proposal activities, and manage to budget. Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure deadlines are met, and enhance client relationships. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a preferred CPA and two to six years of progressive tax compliance or consulting experience. Base salary ranges from $101,200 to $129,030. Candidates must have excellent analytical skills, proficiency in US GAAP, and experience working with high-net-worth individuals and family offices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum two to six years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or a combination of industry and public accounting experience
- Excellent analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills with proficiency in US GAAP, tax compliance, partnership, S corporation, individual and trust returns
- Experience in working with high-net-worth individuals, owners of closely held businesses, private companies and family offices
- Exceptional client service and communication skills
- Strong leadership, business development, recruiting, training, coaching, and mentoring skills
- Excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities
