Job Summary
Generate qualified sales opportunities through strategic outbound prospecting, targeted campaigns, and referrals while researching school districts to identify key decision makers. Engage prospective customers via phone, email, and LinkedIn to establish relationships, uncover needs, and schedule discovery meetings for Regional Partnerships Directors. Nurture existing contacts to generate new interest and partner with Marketing to execute territory strategies, campaign follow-up, and account-based outreach. Maintain accurate CRM records, track activity, and share best practices to support pipeline management and team development. Travel up to 20% within your assigned territory to support conferences and customer events.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a Business Development Representative (BDR), Sales Development Representative (SDR), or inside sales role
- preferably in a B2B SaaS or EdTech environment
- Demonstrated success prospecting, generating qualified sales opportunities, and consistently achieving activity or pipeline goals
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
- ability to engage school and district decision makers
- A self-motivated, resilient, and collaborative mindset
- willingness to learn, receive coaching, and continuously improve
- Travel up to 20% within your assigned territory
