Job Summary

Executive Director, Partnership Commercialization for Global Merchant Services to define and execute strategies for building and managing a robust partnership ecosystem. Lead ecosystem strategy and vision, identify and forge strategic partnerships with developers, industry leaders, and ecosystem collaborators, enable partners with tools and support for integration of Merchant Services solutions, coordinate with engineering, marketing, servicing and product teams to ensure accessibility and adoption, define ecosystem KPIs and reporting, activate ecosystem events and conferences, evaluate new business models with financial discipline, identify regional sales channels and influence the global sales force for P&L growth, and manage external partnerships including potential M&A considerations. Requires 10+ years in partner ecosystem development within payments/tech, strong communication and leadership across cross-functional teams, and a data-driven approach to track growth metrics. Also notes eligibility considerations under the Federal Deposit Insurance Act regarding background checks.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience in partner ecosystem development and commercialization across payment and/or technology industries
  • Proven track record of building and scaling developer ecosystems, partnerships, and community engagement in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving space
  • Strong business acumen with experience in strategic partnerships, negotiation, and driving the growth of developer communities and ecosystems as well as expertise in go to market, product marketing, and sales strategies
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including developers, partners
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible language for developers, partners, and external audiences
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and product
  • Data-driven approach with experience in tracking, measuring, and reporting on ecosystem growth metrics and KPIs
  • Excellent time management, communication, organization and project management skills
  • Energetic, self-motivated and effective under pressure - must enjoy the challenge of working autonomously within a fast-paced and demanding working environment
  • Demonstrates communication and diplomacy skills to work cross-organizationally to influence others, propel results/change and implement projects/processes on simultaneous projects
