Job Summary
Lead and manage a General Liability practice unit in New York, overseeing caseload distribution, team performance, and client service delivery. Handle complex General Liability matters, including Labor Law and construction defect issues, from inception through resolution via depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials. Develop case strategies while maintaining and growing a book of business, and collaborate with the Chair and other Unit Leads to align practice goals with firm strategy. Partner with in-house Business Development and Marketing teams to service existing clients and pursue new opportunities, fostering a collaborative, high-performance team culture. Requires a New York bar license, six-plus years of General Liability litigation experience, and an entrepreneurial mindset. Salary ranges from $165,000 to $250,000 plus profit-sharing under a partnership model.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to practice law in New York and in good standing with the New York State Bar
- 6+ years of experience in General Liability litigation and scaffold law
- demonstrated Partner-level responsibility
- Established or developing book of business
