Job Summary
Lead and manage the General Liability practice unit in Orlando, overseeing caseload distribution, team performance, and client service delivery. Handle complex General Liability matters from inception through resolution, including depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials. Develop case strategies while maintaining and growing your book of business. Collaborate with firm leadership to align practice group goals with broader strategy and partner with the Business Development team to pursue new opportunities. Foster a high-performance team culture consistent with the firm's values. This role operates under a profit-sharing partnership model with comprehensive benefits, including company-paid health insurance, 401K matching, and generous PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing with The Florida Bar
- 6+ years of experience in General Liability litigation
- Partner-level responsibility
- Established or developing book of business
- Drive to expand client relationships in the Florida market
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage and mentor a growing team
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Track record of high performance in a fast-paced litigation environment
