Partner Sales Engineer (UKI)

Job Summary
Partner Sales Engineer role at Ping Identity in the UKI region. Responsibilities include delivering pre-sales demonstrations, presentations, and proofs of concepts; acting as the go-to technical expert for Ping Identity solutions; establishing long-term customer relationships; collaborating with the sales team to drive revenue; coordinating pre-sales with post-sales delivery; leading customer-facing meetings (remote, in-person, and at events); providing feedback to product owners; mentoring junior team members; developing SME knowledge in IAM solutions; and traveling 15-40% within the UK, with some international travel. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in a customer-facing software role; strong knowledge of IAM protocols (SAML, WS-Fed, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM); experience with LDAP/AD, PKI, RADIUS, SQL, DNS, JDBC; proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Node.js, HTML, CSS, JSON, Java; excellent presentation and communication skills; ability to work independently or with teams; eligibility to work in the UK; fluent English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- 3+ years' experience with enterprise-level software systems in a customer-facing role
- Knowledge of identity protocols: SAML, WS-Fed, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM
- Knowledge of IAM technologies: LDAP/Active Directory, SSL/TLS, PKI, RADIUS, SQL, DNS, JDBC
- Experience with programming languages and web technologies: JavaScript, Python, Node.js, HTML, CSS, JSON, Java
- Experience developing and delivering technical presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and POCs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Fluent English
