Partner Marketing Manager, Launches

$255,000–$320,000 year

HybridSan Francisco, California, United States or Seattle, Washington, United States

Full TimeSenior LevelLargeAI Services

Job Summary

Own partner launch readiness end-to-end for every model, feature, and solution launch across the partner ecosystem, from initial briefing through go-live and reach reporting. Define the operating model for partner launches by setting standards for readiness, managing trade-offs between timelines and partner needs, and consolidating work into a scalable center of excellence. Equip partner sellers and solution architects with segment-specific enablement, technical content, and materials to position Claude for customer workloads without escalating to internal teams. Translate Anthropic positioning into partner-specific versions for surfaces like AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, while owning the go-to-market motion for joint and co-built solutions. Run cross-functional review cycles, compile post-launch reporting, and drive momentum through webinars and content pipelines. Represent the partner perspective internally to surface launch impacts and flag experience issues early.

Required Qualifications

  • Have done partner marketing or product marketing work for or on cloud AI/ML platforms — positioning products on AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or directly comparable surfaces, whether from inside a cloud provider or as an independent software vendor launching on one
  • Understand how cloud partner organizations actually work — how their sellers are compensated, what makes a partner's field choose to lead with one vendor over another, and how co-sell and marketplace mechanics shape that choice
  • Have written and rewritten positioning yourself, not only coordinated it; can tell what makes messaging land with a technical audience, and can spot the claim that Legal will flag before Legal does
  • Have set direction on programs rather than only executing them — defining how the work gets done and bringing others along, not inheriting a playbook
  • Can drive cross-functional work without direct authority, pushing internal teams and external partner organizations toward deadlines while keeping the relationships intact, in fast-moving environments where dates move and information is incomplete
  • Handle confidential information rigorously, including tiered need-to-know structures and pre-announcement codenames
  • Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
  • Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
  • Role-specific policy: For this role, we expect all staff to be able to work from our San Francisco or Seattle office at least 2 days a week
  • Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time

Desired Qualifications

  • A partner enablement background — you have designed and delivered enablement for a partner's sellers or solution architects, not only produced materials for them
  • Have worked directly at AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft, in partner marketing on AI/ML services
  • Have taken joint or co-built solutions to market with a partner — reference architectures, industry solutions, marketplace offerings, or similar
  • Can position both a product and a solution — the launch of a new capability and the story of what customers build with it — and know that the two are different jobs
  • Have built a launch function or launch process from scratch, not only run an existing one
  • Background in competitive intelligence or competitive messaging
  • Experience marketing to developers or other technical audiences
  • Familiarity with cloud marketplace listings and the enterprise procurement motion
