Job Summary
Partner Manager & Sales Executive for the Databricks commercial vertical. Own the named-account penetration across mid-market and enterprise accounts in financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, or retail; build and manage a 25–50 target list and drive end-to-end multi-month sales cycles from first contact through security review and contract close. Lead co-sell with Databricks and cloud ecosystem partners (AWS, Azure, GCP); develop joint pursuit plans; coordinate with delivery and solution-architecture teams; leverage MEDDPICC, Challenger, and Strategic Selling methodologies to forecast and close multi-stakeholder deals. Build Databricks private-sector relationships with AEs, SEs, and practice leads; enable partner teams with collateral and up-to-date content; travel to client HQs and events as needed. A strong track record of 3M+ annual new bookings, ability to manage complex negotiations, and deep understanding of enterprise SaaS contracting and cloud marketplace transactions are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 8+ years of progressive enterprise sales and/or alliance management experience
- 5 years selling Databricks (or directly competitive data platform) solutions into commercial enterprises
- Experience with Databricks co-sell and partner program mechanics preferred
- Active Databricks ecosystem relationships; private-sector experience required
- Track record of quota attainment of $3M+ in annual new bookings
- fluent in MEDDPICC, Challenger, and Strategic Selling methodologies
- Commercial procurement experience including contracting, marketplace transactions (AWS, Azure, GCP), MSA/SOW structures, and security review processes
- Willingness to travel up to 40%
- Experience with data and AI transformation projects
- Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred
