Job Summary
Senior Healthcare Regulatory Partner to counsel hospitals, health systems, physician practices, software/device companies, and health-tech platforms on federal/state healthcare regulations (fraud and abuse laws, Stark, AKS, HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid) and regulatory compliance in transactions. Build and grow a niche healthcare regulatory practice within a national platform; leverage a portable book of business (estimated take-home $500k–$600k or higher) and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include advising on licensing and governance, structuring transactions, navigating regulatory risk in PE/venture-backed health care entities, and providing guidance on telemedicine and digital health initiatives. Requires an active law license in NY/PA/NJ/TN, ability to bill at competitive rates (Junior: $600/hr; Senior: $700/hr+), and a track record of independently managing client relationships and regulatory workstreams. The role entails a flexible client base from enterprise to mid-size healthcare businesses, with occasional late nights/early mornings and limited paralegal support in this practice group.
