Job Summary
Own the portfolio strategy for Activation (API) and AdTech partners, defining multi-year roadmaps for tiering, onboarding, and commercial engagement. Architect the partner flywheel by collaborating with Business Development, Product Marketing, and Engineering to build a frictionless "Acquire > Enable > Develop" motion. Drive partner-mediated revenue by establishing accountability for pipeline, durable growth, and adoption through QBRs, scorecards, and joint business plans. Serve as the technical and commercial advocate, translating partner feedback into product priorities and converting Pinterest's value propositions into clear integration plays. Orchestrate cross-functional pods spanning Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to align stakeholders on execution. Navigate complex ecosystems by bridging technical API capabilities with commercial sales goals for programmatic and agentic integrations. This role requires 8+ years in digital media or AdTech, with expertise in DSPs, SSPs, and API integrations. Report to the founding team in Chicago or New York, requiring in-person collaboration two days per week.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in digital media, AdTech, or related technology industries
- Demonstrated expertise in the programmatic ecosystem, including hands-on experience with DSPs, SSPs, and API-based integrations
- Deep understanding of the plumbing of modern performance marketing (tag management, attribution, measurement, and data signals)
- Proven ability to build new partnership programs from 0 to 1
- Experience leading end-to-end strategy for complex partnerships, including structuring deals, negotiating renewals, and driving joint GTM alignment
- Exceptional ability to distill complex technical/product topics into persuasive narratives for both internal leadership and external C-level partner stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of API integrations, custom platform connections, and technical documentation
- Experience working in highly matrixed organizations
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- In-person collaboration 2x/week
- Commutable distance from Chicago, IL or New York City, NY
