Job Summary
Provide effective consulting, planning, and compliance for clients by researching tax issues, identifying planning opportunities, and conducting top-side and detail reviews of returns, workpapers, and projections. Lead engagement teams with direct client contact, manage all account aspects, and coordinate team efforts to ensure timely project planning. Mentor and supervise staff while maintaining knowledge of new tax laws and business trends. Expand the client base using strong business development abilities and represent clients before the IRS and state agencies.
Required Qualifications
- CPA, JD, or EA license
- 12+ years of public accounting experience
- 7+ years of supervisory experience

- Masters of Tax or LLM
- Top 25 accounting firm experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of managing multiple client engagements
- A track record of building and sustaining client relationships and high-quality client service
- Experience representing clients in front of the IRS and state agencies
- Highly motivated to succeed and be part of a high-performing team
- Outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills
- Proficient with CCH Axcess, Sureprep, BNA Income Tax Planner, CCH AnswerConnect, RIA Checkpoint, XCM and Microsoft Office
