Job Summary
Review electronic and paper medical records to assess trial eligibility and generate qualified leads for upcoming clinical trials. Conduct pre-screening interviews and screening calls to determine participant eligibility and schedule onsite visits. Perform medical record abstraction and data collection activities while using electronic workflows to track enrollment and maintain study records. Track project statuses and report enrollment metrics, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, FDA, GCP, IRB guidelines, and M3 Wake Research SOPs. Collaborate with Clinical Affairs on community partner communications and recruitment support. Maintain confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) and participate in video conferences with camera on. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of clinical research experience and is a remote position.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical research experience at a clinical research site, CRO, Sponsor, or participant recruitment vendor
- Bachelor's Degree in a job-related field, or a combination of academic, professional, or work experience that demonstrates ability to perform the duties of the position
- Experience with medical record data abstraction into a proprietary medical record review data collection application
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
Desired Qualifications
- MA, EMT, LVN/LPN, or RN certification or licensure, or similar certification, preferred
