Job Summary
The Participant Account Specialist will support the North Central region by conducting on-site group and individual meetings at a Regional Office to rollout and enroll participants in newly established 401k and 403b plans. Responsibilities include enrolling participants, cross-selling individual products, networking to prospect new participants, increasing enrollment and transfers, following up on leads, serving as a financial liaison regarding investment alternatives, and collaborating with colleagues to demonstrate the service model to prospects. Requires selling experience, comfort with group presentations, and relevant licenses/ FINRA registrations; located in Minneapolis with a hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years of sales experience or equivalent industry experience
- Experience in presenting in a group setting to a variety of size groups
- Individual sales experience and being comfortable with cold calling
- General business acumen with strong motivation and communication skills
- Active FINRA Series 6 and 63 or must obtain within the first 180 days of employment
- Active State Life and Health Insurance License (in all states covered) required or obtained within 180 days of employment
- Valid driver’s license required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- CRPS designation preferred after 5 years in sales related position
- Knowledge of products underwritten by the company (401k and 403b retirement plan)
- Active FINRA Series 6 and 63 or must obtain within the first 180 days of employment
- Active State Life and Health Insurance License (in all states covered) required or obtained within 180 days of employment
- Valid driver’s license required
- Two years of sales experience or equivalent industry experience
