Part-Time Worship and Creative Arts Director at Cocalico Community Church

Job Summary
Oversee the weekly development of the weekend worship service, establish priorities aligned with the church's mission, and partner with the Senior Pastor to plan coordinated services. Identify song selection standards, sound protocols, and livestream requirements while providing mentorship for gifted individuals leading worship. Lead team development through recruitment, rehearsal, and spiritual discipleship of instrumentalists, vocalists, and production technicians. Manage the annual ministry budget and oversee spending for assigned areas. This 30-hour-per-week position requires a Bachelor's degree in Bible/Theology and 3–5 years of worship ministry experience. Cocalico Community Church is a growing, family-oriented community in Lancaster County, PA, committed to helping people discover purpose and grow in faith.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Bible/Theology or a comparable field of study
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience leading in worship ministry or a comparable worship environment
- Demonstrated leadership experience equipping and staffing adult volunteers in non-profit or ministry settings
- Experience working in a professional multi-staff environment
- Thrives in a busy ministry office environment with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities
- Builds trusting, sustainable relationships with ministry volunteers through open and interactive communication
- Demonstrates strong organizational and administrative capability
- Committed to a positive team environment, contributing expertise while consistently following leadership direction
- Approaches challenges with patience, determination, and persistence to troubleshoot ministry issues
- Delivers 'Second Mile Service'—consistently goes above and beyond for both staff and the church community
- Cultivates positive working relationships across all levels of the organization
