Job Summary
Provide friendly, prompt service to members and guests while maintaining a welcoming locker room environment. Conduct general cleaning and sanitizing of washrooms, showers, carpets, ledges, windows, and tables, including dusting, mopping, and vacuuming. Sort, transport, and organize laundry and linens; refresh amenities, re-stock supplies, empty garbage cans, clean plates and glassware, and make coffee. Perform shoe cleaning services and manage inventory of supplies. Execute opening and closing duties as assigned. This part-time role runs August through October, Monday to Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Candidates must have at least one year of cleaning experience, demonstrate exceptional guest service skills, and possess the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience performing cleaning duties (at least 1 year is preferable)
- Must demonstrate exceptional guest service skills (i.e. remaining calm and courteous at all times with high attention to detail)
- Applicants must have a positive attitude and professional image
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and respond with a sense of urgency
- Proficient in English (speaking, reading and writing)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly responsible, punctual and reliable
- Ability to bend, kneel, twist, reach, lift, and occasionally carry items up to 50 lbs
- Constant standing and walking will be required throughout the shift
- Available to work Part-time hours from August until October, working 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (Monday to Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday)
