Job Summary
Handle and merchandise furniture by moving, lifting, wrapping, staging, and arranging pieces throughout the 8,000-square-foot space while maintaining organization. Welcome customers, answer product questions, and assist them in finding items for their homes while keeping the area ready to shop. Partner with teammates to safely handle heavy items up to 75 pounds using appropriate equipment and follow safe working practices. Work Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with one weekend off each month. Bring attention to detail and a willingness to learn our systems to work efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience in retail, customer service, warehouse, merchandising or another fast-paced environment
- Strength and stamina to regularly lift and move up to 75 pounds and safely handle heavier furniture with a teammate and/or appropriate equipment
- Comfort spending most of your shift standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting and moving furniture
- An understanding of safe working practices and the importance of safely and efficiently handling furniture
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to provide proof of identity and legal work authorization upon hire
- Saturdays & Sundays, 9:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., with one weekend off each month
