Job Summary
Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing follow-up for up to 20 adult patients daily. Participate in daily treatment team meetings and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver care. Complete required patient documentation in Cerner. Work onsite Saturday and Sunday 10-hour shifts as a General or Addiction Psychiatrist treating dual diagnosis populations. Board eligibility in General or Addiction Psychiatry required with Georgia licensure. Join a fully staffed Medical Staff Services office within a Fortune 500 healthcare organization providing a continuum of behavioral health programs.
Required Qualifications
- M.D./D.O. with Board Eligibility/Certification in General Psychiatry or Addiction Psychiatry
- Successful completion of an accredited General Psychiatry residency
- Experience with Substance Abuse and Dual Diagnosis populations
- Georgia medical license
- DEA in good standing or eligibility to obtain it
