Job Summary
Part-time Weekend Cook responsible for preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, or dinner as assigned, ensuring efficient, timely, and friendly service to residents and staff. Reads and follows recipes to ensure consistency, maintains proper sanitation and safety procedures, and participates in stock receiving and rotation with the Food Service Director. Requires knowledge of food preparation techniques, ability to work as part of a team, and capability to handle multiple tasks while complying with community quality standards. Demonstrates dependability, punctuality, and self-motivation, with Serv-Safe certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of cooking experience (some short order cooking)
- Serv-Safe certification, or willing to obtain upon hire
