Job Summary
Retrieve inventory from floor and up-stock locations to perform product transfers and deliver items for stocking or shipment. Safely operate material handling equipment including forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, stock chasers, pallet jacks, and scanners while completing daily safety inspection checklists. Maintain productivity minimums and follow barcode scanning procedures using warehouse software. Perform required cleaning activities to keep the warehouse safe and clean, while adhering to all safety rules and leadership directions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Must be in good standing with the company
- Ability to read and understand pick tickets and labels written in English
- Ability to use electronic devices
- Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers quickly and accurately
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work independently without close supervision
- Ability to prioritize assignments in order to meet cut off times
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
- Able to learn or be trained on using power equipment: Order Picker, Reach Truck, Stock Chaser, Pallet Jack, Electric Pallet Jack, Forklift, etc.
- Willing to perform other duties as required
- Able to work overtime if required
- Must be able to wear proper safety equipment (safety toe shoes, bump caps and safety vest)
