Job Summary
Lead the morning shift in a fast-paced warehouse, coordinating workflow, guiding associates on the floor, and ensuring accurate inbound/outbound processing. Acts as on-shift point person, trains and supports warehouse staff on standard procedures, verifies shipping labels and shipment details, coordinates with drivers for pickups/deliveries, tracks exceptions, maintains a clean and safe warehouse, and communicates updates to the Operations Manager. This role provides a pathways into lead or full-time opportunities as the business scales.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Experience working on a team and/or supporting or training peers
- Familiarity with basic warehouse procedures, tools, and safety standards
- Comfortable using warehouse apps or systems to log packages and track shipments (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
- Good communication skills for working with team members and drivers
- Ability to lift and move boxes (up to 30 lbs) and stay active throughout the shift
