Job Summary
Load, unload, and stage tires for warehouse storage and customer deliveries, including unloading products at business locations. Operate equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks while conducting pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintaining logs. Inspect, tally, and label customer orders using the bin locator system, collect payments for cash-on-delivery transactions, and ensure vehicles remain clean and mechanically sound. Perform cycle counts and inventory control procedures as part of regularly scheduled tasks. Complete other duties assigned by leadership while adhering to all safety standards and TireHub policies.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of general work experience
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have at least 3 years of driving history, with a valid driver's license (does not include driver's permit)
- Must be 19 years old or older
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Repeatedly lift, pull, push and/or move tires (up to 50lbs) with or without mechanical assistance
- Capable of frequent bending, twisting and lifting
- Multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Accurately and efficiently load, unload and place tires in warehouse and delivery vehicles
- Work up to 35 feet above ground-level
- Work up to 8 hours per day on a forklift
- Follow traffic rules and regulations by safely driving TireHub vehicles to deliver tires to customer locations
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with Manifest, GPS and Navigation systems
- Must be able to maintain a forklift certification
- Ability to maintain a valid REAL I.D. Driver's license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience required (3 years preferred; time with a learner's permit does not qualify)
- Must be available for extended day, evening, and weekend work (including Saturday)
- Must be available for driving during the night or in inclement weather
- Must be able to handle hazardous materials and wear various forms of protective equipment (gloves, protective eyewear, etc.)
- Must meet specific vision requirements including close, distance, color, peripheral visions, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years of driving history (preferred over minimum 2 years)
- Must be able to maintain a valid REAL I.D. Driver's license with 3 years of driving experience
