Job Summary
Greet and welcome clients, answer calls and emails to triage concerns, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff for resolution. Schedule appointments to maximize daily flow, check in and check out patients, and process payments. Maintain the visual appeal of the reception area while offering friendly emotional support during times of need. This role requires handling unpleasant odors, noises, and potential exposure to animal waste or contagious diseases. Candidates must demonstrate resilience when managing emotionally charged situations with professionalism.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of veterinary receptionist experience
- Coverage of some Saturday shifts
- Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises
- Must be comfortable with various medical outcomes
- Compassionate, calm team player with a positive attitude
- Exceptional multitasking abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Highly organized
- Excellent computer proficiency
- Self-motivated
- Desire to continuously learn and grow in your role

Desired Qualifications
