Job Summary
Part-time Veterinary Assistant at O’Connor Animal Hospital in Irving, TX. Responsibilities include pet restraint, triage incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management. Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors/noises and potential exposure to bites/scratches. Opportunities for virtual and hands-on training and continuing development. Qualifications include at least 1 year of experience, strong communication and teamwork, and ability to restrain pets. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-year experience required as Veterinary Assistant
