Job Summary
In-home, associate veterinarian role focusing on hospice and euthanasia care for pets, operating as a mobile veterinarian with flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules, emphasizing work-life balance, mentorship, and independent practice within Lap of Love’s supportive network. Responsibilities include delivering compassionate end-of-life veterinary care, managing client communications, and providing a meaningful, patient-centered service in clients’ homes, with an emphasis on a clinic-alternative practice model and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
- Availability to work some weekends
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.
