Job Summary
In-Home, Associate Veterinarian role with Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice. Mobile hospice veterinary care provides in-home euthanasia and compassionate end-of-life support to pets and families in the Omaha, NE area (and surrounding locales). Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, mentorship and onboarding support, and a pathway to professional fulfillment outside traditional clinics. Opportunities include 4-day full-time positions starting at $85,000 and 5-day positions at $100,000 plus bonuses; 3-day full-time and part-time options are prorated. Required Qualifications
- DVM degree or equivalent
- Active veterinary license in Nebraska (or eligibility)
- Ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care in-home
- Comfort practicing independently in mobile setting
- Strong communication and empathy with clients and pets
- Flexibility to accommodate 2–5 day-per-week schedules
- Ability to handle emotionally meaningful end-of-life care
- Ability to work in-home visits across Omaha, NE and surrounding areas
