Job Summary
In-Home, Associate Veterinarian at Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice providing hospice and euthanasia care in clients' homes. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedule with an average of 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, emphasis on work-life balance, mentorship and onboarding, and comprehensive benefits including 401k match, health insurance, CE allowance, PTO, and wellness resources. Role involves mobile veterinary work delivering compassionate care in patients' homes with a focus on meaningful, emotionally fulfilling practice. Requires DVM/VMD/BVMS, valid U.S. drivers license, weekend availability, ability to lift heavy loads, and successful background/motor vehicle checks.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
- Valid U.S. drivers license
- Availability to work some weekends
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Background and motor vehicle record check conducted post-hire and before start date
