Job Summary
Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 computer using a handheld terminal or headset for each vehicle received at the auction, including VIN, stock number, and detailed specs. Affix barcode stickers, place work order labels, and flag "no key" cars. Direct transporters to drop zones, report damage, and take digital images upon receipt. Provide sale identification windshield codes to drivers and visibly demonstrate safety commitments by following all health procedures. Assist on sale days by driving vehicles through auction lanes. Work Monday through Wednesday from 12pm to 8pm at a specified Cox location. Valid driver's license and ability to drive both standard and automatic transmissions are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Less than 2 years' experience in a related field
- Safe drivers needed
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift 1-15 pounds
- Close, distance and color vision
- Depth perception
- Ability to adjust focus
- Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years of auction and/or vehicle registration experience
