Job Summary
Conduct courteous, on-time, and accurate deliveries of products with a variable daily route, performing daily pre/post trip inspections. Locate and pick orders in-store for wholesale customers, build relationships, and ensure proper product rotation, merchandising, and end-cap execution. Assist with store operations including point-of-sale processing, asset security, and inventory organization. Requires at least one year of delivery driving experience, a clean driving record, and an unrestricted license. Schedule Monday through Saturday 7AM-8PM; Sunday 9AM-6PM.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year previous delivery driving experience
- One year in customer service or related field
- Unrestricted Standard Operators License
- Clean driving record (no drug or alcohol offenses in the last 5 years)
- Minimum of 18 years old
- Must be able to use a two-wheel cart with a load weighing up to 350 pounds
- Able to lift up to 70 lbs
- Must successfully pass pre-employment checks including a drug screen, criminal background check and motor vehicle report (MVR)
- Must provide a letter of support from their management if they work for a Gordon Food Service customer
