Job Summary
Part-Time UX Designer (Intermediate) for a 3-month contract with onsite work in Toronto, Ontario. Responsibilities include leading the design of complex digital services from concept to production, producing user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes, conducting user research and usability testing, and ensuring accessible-by-default designs. Requires expertise in information architecture and interaction design, proficiency in Figma and Axure, ability to create deliverables and reports, and use of AI tools to support UI/UX activities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in leading the design of complex digital services from concept to production
- Expert knowledge of information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design processes, user experience principles
- Experience in Figma and Axure
- Demonstrated experience developing key design deliverables such as user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, clickable prototypes, presentations and reports
- Experience in conducting research, user research, usability testing
- Experience in designing online services to be accessible by default
- Proficient with design and prototyping software, digital collaboration and web conferencing tools
- Demonstrates effective use of AI tools to support UI/UX design activities, including generating wireframes, and analyzing user behavior
