Job Summary
Part-Time Veterinary Technician at UrgentVet Hospitals in Richmond, VA. Assists canine and feline patients in urgent care, supports wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia, and works with cloud-based EMR, X-ray, and IDEXX equipment. Provides outstanding patient care, team leadership, and client service in a fast-paced clinic. Responsibilities include animal handling, phlebotomy, catheter placement, laboratory analysis, drug calculation, facility maintenance, and client education. Requires on-site presence, ability to lift 40 lbs, and flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays; travel for on-site training may be required.
