Job Summary
Provide outstanding patient care, team leadership, and client service in a fast-paced urgent care clinic. Handle animals including patient restraint, sample collection, and monitoring. Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, catheter placement, laboratory analysis, and drug calculation. Assist with facility maintenance and educate clients. Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Full-time staff may travel for on-site training and onboarding. This role supports after-hours care for canine and feline patients at UrgentVet's paperless clinics equipped with cloud-based EMR and digital x-ray.
Required Qualifications
- Full-time employees may be required to travel for on-site training and onboarding
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs
- This position requires regular on-site presence
- Prior customer service experience
- Prior experience working with animals in a hospital setting
- Animal handling experience including patient restraint, sample collection, and monitoring
- Clinical skills including phlebotomy, catheter placement, laboratory analysis, and drug calculation
