Job Summary
UrgentVet seeks a Part-Time Urgent Care Veterinarian to provide after-hours care for canine and feline patients, manage a varying caseload including surgeries and appointments during open hours, and collaborate with a strong clinical team and leadership. The role emphasizes relationship-based patient care, growth of practice relationships within the Houston community, and staff development through the internal LevelUp training program. The position requires a DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or ECFVG/PAVE) and an active license in good standing or the ability to obtain licensure in Texas. The clinic features paperless operations, cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, IDEXX in-house lab equipment, flexible swing/second shift schedule, and a comprehensive benefits package including CE, licensing dues, liability insurance, retirement match, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- DVM/VMD degree from AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
- Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state)
