Job Summary
Part-Time Upper School Mathematics Teacher (50% FTE) teaching Algebra 1 and Geometry four times weekly with two office hours; shares a lighter schedule designed for meaningful work. Emphasis on building real conversations with curious, capable students, knowing their names and learning styles, and encouraging intellectual risk. Collaboration within a vibrant academic community; strong communication with students, families, and colleagues; student-centered approach; comfort with educational technology; prior independent school experience is a plus. Requires PA background clearances prior to first day.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Experience teaching secondary mathematics, including Algebra 1 and Geometry
