Job Summary
Perform basic teller transactions, new account openings, and consumer lending duties while meeting sales goals through cross-selling bank products and services. Provide prompt, professional, and knowledgeable customer service to clients. This role requires analyzing client credit data, maintaining basic math proficiency, and demonstrating dedicated attendance and punctuality. You will work full days on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with rotating Saturday mornings, totaling 24 hours weekly. Based in Rochester, this position supports Alerus's core purpose of helping clients achieve their financial goals through integrity and valued advice.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years banking experience, including teller transactions and customer service
- Understanding of bank operations, bank products, sales and new business development
- Ability to analyze client credit data and other related financial information
- Basic math proficiency and aptitude
- Dedicated and satisfactory attendance/punctuality
- Must occasionally lift or move supplies and materials up to 20 pounds
- Must be available for a full day Monday, Wednesday and Friday with a rotating Saturday morning, with a collective 24 hours a week
