Job Summary
Universal Banker role serving as a full service, single point of contact in the branch for customers’ financial needs, combining Teller and FSR duties to process transactions, open deposits and accounts, promote products, provide referrals, and maintain compliance with banking regulations. Responsibilities include handling cash and transactions, assisting in training tellers, opening new deposit accounts, stopping payments and wire transfers, resolving customer issues with courtesy, and expanding customer relationships through referrals and service excellence. Requires strong customer service, sales aptitude, knowledge of banking products, and adherence to security and audit procedures.
Required Qualifications
- One year of teller or cash handling experience
- Six months of customer relationship building or sales experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Good interpersonal skills, good computer skills, ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
