Job Summary
Lead the Kilgore College Twirlers program as Director of Twirling, providing leadership, instruction, and artistic direction; develop choreography for twirling performances, coordinate with Band and Rangerettes, oversee recruitment, events, fundraising clinics, scholarship allocations, and program communications; manage student development and collaboration with campus partners; requires baton-twirling mastery, prior performance/coaching experience, strong communication, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced educational environment. Duties include practices 3–5 days/week 1.5–2 hours, performances at football games/competitions, and occasional afternoon/evening teaching.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated mastery of baton twirling
- Previous twirling performance and/or coaching experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in an instructional environment while maintaining professional, respectful, and collaborative relationships with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Additional Requirements
- All full-time positions are located in Kilgore, TX. No fully work from home positions are available at this time. All employees must be available to physically present to work on the Kilgore, TX or Longview, TX Campus. Some Part-Time and Adjunct positions may be offsite but the candidate MUST live in the State of Texas.
