Job Summary
Provide targeted intervention directly aligned to classroom instruction to reinforce foundational reading and math skills. Support students through identified interventions guided by Multi-Tiered System of Supports and Professional Learning Communities while monitoring progress and communicating regularly with teachers and administration. Deliver intensive prescriptive instruction to increase academic achievement, adjusting groups dynamically based on ongoing assessment data. Utilize district-approved instructional resources and maintain confidentiality concerning student records. This time-limited position runs Monday through Thursday from October 15, 2026, to April 8, 2027, with compensation at $20.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Current South Carolina Teacher Certification
- High School Diploma
- Proficient technology skills
- Ability to collaborate with peers and administration
- Strong instructional skills inclusive of oral and written communication
- Ability to support students in reading and math
- Ability to organize and accurately collect and analyze student performance data
