Job Summary
Own the relationship with members from transaction start to finish by selling international and domestic vacation packages, cruises, tours, and travel tickets. Initiate contact with prospects to generate new business while maintaining minimum production goals for travel sales and proprietary products. Cross-sell credit cards and memberships independently or with specialized team members, researching AAA Travel Partner packages to match member needs and deliver exceptional experiences. Respond to travel-related questions and complaints, recommending solutions based on current industry trends and world events. Process and interpret travel documents, informing members of governmental requirements while utilizing industry-specific systems to manage transactions with high accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of general sales experience
- Saturday availability
- occasional evenings for special events
- Strong working knowledge of computer applications (e.g., Google Workspace)

- Self-motivated sales drive

- Detailed knowledge of travel products
- Knowledge of worldwide geography

- GDS experience (Apollo/Galileo/Travelport)
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to listen to members' needs
- Ability to apply good judgment and decision making
- Bilingual communication skills
