Job Summary
Assist members in tire selection, purchase, and installation including mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing. Complete necessary tire bay documentation and ensure all scheduling data is accurate for sales and service orders. Maintain a clean, organized tire bay and waiting area while merchandising displays and automotive products. Verify tire sizes for vehicles, coordinate special-order programs, and manage supply inventory. Dispose of tires properly and fill propane tanks per club policy if certified. Comply with safety standards, utilize equipment correctly, and deliver knowledgeable service at the tire desk. Maintain accurate supply inventory and coordinate with Home Office regarding member needs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills or a willingness to learn basic computer skills
- Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire
- Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
