Job Summary
Greet customers and facilitate a welcoming environment while processing transactions efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced setting. Maintain balanced cash drawers, adhere to internal controls, and cross-sell banking products to generate new business and build loyalty. Respond to inquiries by researching positive solutions and offer exceptional service to all clients. This role requires long periods of standing or sitting, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working Monday through Saturday from 9:45 a.m. to 8:15 p.m. with weekend availability. Candidates must pass Teller Certification training within the first three weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months cash handling and/or Point of Sale (POS) transaction experience in a retail sales or food industry environment
- Excellent customer-service skills, including oral and written communication
- Ability to effectively contribute to a positive team environment and work toward achieving goals
- Careful attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong work ethic and high integrity
- Strong computer and 10 key skills
- Outgoing, assertive, confident, and enthusiastic personality
- Must successfully pass our Teller Certification test to be allowed to operate a Teller drawer
- Candidates must be available to work weekend hours
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of banking products and procedures
- Successful sales record in a retail sales or banking environment
- Bilingual (fluent verbal and written Spanish) skills
- Proficiency with all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.)
