Job Summary
Welcome members into the branch, providing friendly service that promotes positive financial well-being. Meet established Credit Union goals for internal and external sales to existing and potential members by building rapport to cross-sell financial products and services. Accurately and efficiently process a variety of routine financial inquiries, transactions, and service requests while securing assets, balancing transactions, and completing necessary reports. Schedule includes 26 hours per week: 3-4 weekday shifts (8:15am–5:45pm) and Saturdays (8:45am–1:15pm) at the Fridley branch. Requires high school diploma, one year of public interaction experience, and one year of cash handling. Required Qualifications
- Availability to work 26 hours per week
- 3-4 weekday shifts and every Saturday
- High school diploma or equivalent (or in active pursuit of with a specified end date)
- One year of experience interacting with the public or serving customers
- One year of cash handling experience, preferred
- Previous sales experience or strong interest in sales, preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to help people
- Effective communication skills (verbal and non-verbal), interpersonal skills, and active listening skills
- Good decision-making skills and judgement
- Ability to perform calculations and proficiency in basic math skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and maintain accurate records
- Ability to communicate with a diverse membership and employee population
- A professional and friendly appearance and demeanor
- Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and various background checks
- Regular and reliable attendance at the workplace
