Job Summary
Greet and welcome members to provide accurate transactions, listening, and education on products and services. Process deposits and withdrawals by verifying signatures, balances, and endorsements while maintaining confidentiality. Assist with mail or email transactions, enter payments into computer records, and generate receipts. Promote cross-selling of consumer loans, IRAs, certificates, and online banking. Count, check, and package coins and currency, then balance the cash drawer and resolve discrepancies. Ensure the station is stocked, report equipment malfunctions, and check night depositories. Comply with all policies, laws, and regulations including the Bank Secret Act. Maintain an orderly work area and assist senior positions as needed. Work 25-39 hours per week depending on benefit status.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Availability during branch hours
- Availability to work at alternate Branch locations if/when assigned
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds at times
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of bookkeeping
- Minimum 1 year of cash handling/teller experience
